The holes are very slightly too small

The plates seem pretty high quality, and I'm pretty sure that are the perfect thickness. However, the corners of the switch holes are a little too narrow on the left and right sides - this caused the plate to scrape the corners of the MX switch, wedging that material between the switch and the plate. This prevented the switch tabs from snapping into place, and negatively affecting the mounting of the switches into the hot swap sockets of the PCB.
