Description
- Top and bottom plate are CNC machined from 1.5mm Carbon Fiber Sheets
- Compatible with Cherry MX switches, and MX clones (Gateron, Kailh, Durock, Zealio …)
- Supports MIT and GRID layout (MX Matt supports also 2x2U)
- With top opening holes (open switches without desoldering)

Requires
- 12x Standoff's 10mm ≈0.4inch (order on more as a replacement, sometimes the thread does not fit perfect with the screws)
- 24x M3x6mm screws (anodised screws)
- 24x M3 anodized washer
- 48x MX keyboard switches
- OLKB Planck PCB, Blank Slate PCB, or Teensy/Arduino Pro Micro (Hand Wiring)
You can use half the number of screws and spacers if you want to save some money.

Plateless builds are highly discouraged: the battery cutout in Blank Slate results in some switches being only partially supported from below by the PCB. Cases that are entirely metal, including the switch plate, may impact wireless signal integrity. If using a metal case, a plastic or FR4 plate is strongly encouraged. The ZMK firmware is powerful, but can be challenging to configure for new or non-technical users. It is not recommended for users who want to use a graphical application to reprogram their keyboard.
